Scott and Amy Alvis

Five years ago, Scott and Amy Alvis were looking for a place with loving people where they could get involved in student ministry. God led them to Agape Life Fellowship and we are so grateful He did. They have been dedicated and faithful to our youth since joining our fellowship, and their heart for young people is evident in all they do.

While not ministering to our youth, Amy is a teacher at Kate Sullivan Elementary School working with children with special needs and Scott works for the Florida Department of Revenue. But if none of the above work out, they have music to fall back on… Amy shares her singing talent with us every Sunday and gave up pursuits of a career in opera to teach and minister. Scott was named to All-State Chorus in High School and, though limited these days to singing in the shower, we know that he could put in a good showing on American Idol.

Nothing could compare to knowing this couple personally – just ask any student in our Fivestones youth group and they will tell you how much fun, depth, and life they have received through Christ working in Scott and Amy. They love goofing off, but what counts the most are the relationships they build with our youth, impacting their lives for a lifetime.
